Privacy Policy
AuraMed System ("we", "us") builds pharmacy technology for pharmacies in Lebanon. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website (auramedsystem.com), our demonstration-request form, and the ways we communicate with pharmacies — including email and WhatsApp — and how we handle it.
1. Who we are
AuraMed System is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at mail@auramedsystem.com.
2. What we collect
- Demonstration requests. When you ask for a demonstration through our website, we collect the details you type: your name, pharmacy name, phone number, email address, district, and any message you leave.
- Business contact details. For pharmacies we work with or reach out to, we keep the pharmacy's name, address, public phone number, and the name and role of the person we speak to.
- Communication history. Messages exchanged with us by email or WhatsApp, meeting notes, and the follow-ups we agree on, so that we can keep our word and not repeat ourselves.
- Website technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your demonstration request and arrange a visit or call.
- To communicate with pharmacies about AuraMed System products, trials, pilots, and support.
- To keep an accurate record of what was discussed and agreed with each pharmacy.
- To keep our website and systems secure.
Our legal bases are your request (when you contact us), our legitimate interest in presenting our products to pharmacies in a measured, non-intrusive way, and, where required, your consent.
4. WhatsApp and email
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (provided by Meta) and email to communicate with pharmacies. Messages you send us on WhatsApp are received and stored by our coordination system so that our team can reply. WhatsApp's own handling of your data is governed by WhatsApp's Business privacy terms. You can stop receiving messages from us at any time by replying "stop" or by contacting us at the address above; we will honour that promptly.
Our outreach is reviewed by a member of our team before it is sent. If you ask whether you are speaking with a person, a person will answer you.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — website hosting (Cloudflare), our cloud server provider (DigitalOcean), and messaging providers (Meta for WhatsApp, and our email provider) — and only to the extent needed to provide the service. These providers process data on our instructions.
6. Retention
We keep demonstration requests and pharmacy communication records for as long as we have an active relationship or a reasonable prospect of one, and then for up to two years for accountability, unless the law requires longer. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled servers. Access inside AuraMed System is limited to the team members who need it.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for outreach. Write to mail@auramedsystem.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also raise the matter with the competent authority in Lebanon.
9. Data deletion
To have your data deleted, email mail@auramedsystem.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the phone number or email address you used with us. We will confirm once the deletion is complete.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for pharmacy professionals and are not directed at children.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated to the pharmacies we are in contact with.
